How beautiful the name is, I am somewhat attached to this.

Frozen Bubbles

This image was taken in winter time in a arid area of the Canadian Rockies. Temperatures where below -30 degrees Celsius yet because there was no snow fall the surface of the lake was uncovered allowing me to see and capture the bubbles (gas release from lake bed) that were trapped in the frozen waters.

Fire and Ice

Fire and Ice. Fire can be a life-sustaining, constructive element, or, at worst, a powerfully destructive force - something we humans continue to use, play with, and struggle to control. Ice is closer to the natural state of the universe, cold, still and lifeless. Earth's orbit lies in a "Goldilocks zone" where we may seasonally experience icy environments, but never freeze completely.

Green Trace

Green Trace is the name of this unique project by Designer Junjie Zhang. A flat umbrella stand comes fitted with mesh and some pre-sowed seeds; during the rainy season, rain from the umbrella slips into the meshes of the Green Trace, and the plants will grow particularly well right where you’ll rest the umbrella most frequently.

Growing Grass Sculptures

Exhibiting at the Invisible Dog Gallery in Brooklyn, New York, these growing grass sculptures change every time you see them. Made of soil and wheat seeds with a structure from recycled metal, they're the creative work of mixed media artist Mathilde Roussel-Giraudy.

"The natural world, ingested as food becomes a component of human being," Roussel-Giraudy says. "Through these anthropomorphic and organic sculptures made of soil and wheat grass seeds, I strive to show that food, it's origin, it's transport, has an impact on us beyond it's taste. The power inside it affects every organ of our body. Observing nature and being aware of what and how we eat makes us more sensitive to food cycles in the world - of abundance, of famine - and allows us to be physically, intellectually and spiritually connected to a global reality."

I am contemplating on the welcoming entry for the year 11, so here's this that represent best. Ahh, I simple adore the flow. Pretty pretty! Yes!

And oh, I got great vibe towards twenty-eleven! What can I say? I shall let it unfold itself!

Snow,

As water vapor starts condensing on its surface, the ice particle quickly develops facets, which form into a different shaped snowflakes depending on temperature.

Stellar Plates or ‘common snowflakes’ are thin, plate-like crystals with six broad arms that form a star-like shape, forming when the temperature is near -2 C (28 F) or near -15 C (5 F).








This is the season for it isnt? I've not seen it, but I thought I love snow, someday, I would want to experience it myself one day.
